OureffortstouniteGoldenRetrieverswhohavebeenabandonedorrelinquishedwiththeirlifelongfamilieshavebecomeamodelworthduplicating.In2010wehelpedlaunchGreatPyreneesRescueofAtlantainJanuary.Thisrescuewasanoutgrowthofourtwo-yearefforttorescueGreatPyrssincenooneelsewassavingtheminourarea.DuringthistimeAGArescuedatotalof88ofthesemagnificentdogswhosurelywouldhavediedinshelters.GreatPyreneesRescueofAtlantahassavedover60sinceitslaunch.Nearly25ofourdogscamefromoutsideGeorgiain2010soitmakessenseforustoassistinthestartupofprogramssimilartoourstoinsurethatnoGoldenRetrieverwilleverbelostduetolackofanorganizedrescueoperation.InNovemberwehelpedstartAdoptaGoldenKnoxvillebydesigningtheirlogowebsiteandgivingthemamanualofintroductorypoliciesandproceduresaswellasseedmoney.In2011wehopetogetAdoptaGoldenBirminghamupandrunningtoserveAlabama.Weareproudoftheworkwehavedonetodateandlookforwardtochallengesofthefuture.IfyouareluckyenoughtohaveeverhadaGoldenRetrieverinyourlifethenyouknowhowimportantitisforustohelpthem.LookintoaGoldenseyesandyourheartwillbefilledwithhappiness.LOOKINGFORWARD
