Woof Woof! My name is Quincy and I’m so excited to tell you about my new forever home! First off, my new family has the coolest toy ever, a boat! That’s right, we spend our weekends out at Lake Martin. I get to see the whole family and some of our good friends. Best of all, I get to ride shotgun in the boat! That’s all for now, I have to get back to being the co-captain!
Woof Woof! Hey it’s Thelma and Louise, and boy, have we got news for you! We’ve traded our convertible for the comforts of an SUV! That’s right folks, we’ve found our forever home!
We are really enjoying the good life with our new mom and dad as well as their growing family, one great grandson and another arriving in December. We are already settled in with our mom’s schedule… we know when Good Morning America is on and we know when it’s belly rub time!

Boy, oh, boy – do I have some “golden” news to share… Our wonderful friends at WSB-TV created a public service ad that promotes adoption of golden retrievers, like me, through Adopt A Golden Atlanta. Believe it or not, this is AGA’s first television commercial and can be seen exclusively on WSB-TV!
Adopt A Golden Atlanta’s commercial features Dr. Michale Davis and her beloved golden O’Toole. As a new AGA orphan, O’Toole was taken to the vet for his physical exam and vaccines. In comes Dr. Davis… She is the Medical Director of VCA Buckhead Animal Hospital and was the vet who saw O’Toole. The two were a perfect match; so perfect that Dr. Davis adopted O’Toole. Stories like this one are what AGA is all about.

Meet our August Orphan of the Month, Sunshine!
Sunshine is a bright and beautiful 4 year old golden. Sunshine was at a shelter and had heart-worms and was on the list to be put down when AGA came to her rescue. Sunshine is now healthy and ready to get her new family. She adores everyone and is incredibly smart. She knows most of her commands already. Sunshine would love for you to sing her favorite song to her, “You are my Sunshine”. She lights up when she hears it.
