Hi Everyone!!
Sammy here. Remember me? I am the one that was left in a North Georgia kill shelter and rescued by AGA. I am only 5 years old and the only life I knew was my old owner. He left me because he could not care for me any more.
After AGA picked me up, they took me to a vet. A lady came to the vet and brought me to her house to foster. She was so nice to me and I really liked her right away. In fact, I followed her everywhere. After a little while with people coming to my foster home to look at me and maybe take me to my forever home, I was sad. I asked my mom if I could just stay with her and she said YES. Now I have a new mom and dad and a Golden brother Bailey. On top of that I have one cat sister Peaches and one cat brother Fozzie. Fozzie jumps on me a lot but I don't know what to do about that. My mom and dad take Bailey and I on long walks early in the day and brush me. The best part of my new life is all the love my new family gives me. I have my own bed, toys, Boston Red Sox bowl, leash and collar. I want to thank AGA for giving me a forever home and family.
Here is a picture with my Golden brother Bailey. I am the guy on the left.

Dear AGA Friends,
I wanted to let you know much I love my new home. I have two doggie sisters to keep me company and we all get along great (even though I don’t always like it when they get more attention than me!). My mom and dad thank you guys every day for me – they tell me they love me a whole lot. I love to go for rides in the car though my really favorite time is taking a nap. I have made new friends at my special vet who is helping me with my itchy skin – every day is a new adventure for me!
Lastly and most importantly, I want to thank you guys for rescuing me and helping all the other goldens out there like me who are just looking for someone to love and to love them back. You are the best!!!
Love, MoonPie

Adopt a Golden Friends,
Reagan here, I was the abandoned 7 month old pup you found at Ronald Reagan Park. I just wanted to say hi and thank you for giving me the best life ever. My forever home and family are the greatest and things are even better now that we have Rusty. Rusty was hit and rolled by a car, abandoned, and thrown in a shelter for days. AGA came to his rescue and we planned to foster Rusty till he got back on his paws. But in minutes it was obvious that me and Rusty were meant to be together forever. He is my very best friend and I could not have asked for a better brother. Mom and dad always tell me that I am the easy perfect dog, but Rusty likes to get himself into trouble. He loves to chew on things and once ate a whole cooked chicken. I think it’s funny but I’m trying to teach him to be good. We’re always together so I know soon he will understand it’s better to behave because that’s how you get the treats. Either way, me, Rust, mom and dad thank you AGA for giving us all such a wonderful forever!!!!
Love,
Reagan and Rusty

Hey AGA!
Remember me, Moreland? I was found wandering the streets and you all were kind enough to give me some great foster parents and treat me for those yucky heartworms. Well as you can see, these days I’m one happy, healthy, good looking guy. I have the best forever home- with four kids and a great mom and dad. My best pal is probably my Pink Panther doll- it’s the coolest and one of my girls gave it to me so it’s extra special. I carry it everywhere I go. This is a picture of me and my neighbor Duke. We’re good friends. I’m still trying to figure out what kind of dog he is because he is a whole lot bigger than any of the animals I met during my days on the streets. Mom says he’s a horse but I’ve never heard of that bread. Either way, Duke is fun. I give him lots of kisses (he is a lot bigger than me after all, you have to be nice). Life is great and I have all of you to thank.
Love and Licks,
Moreland

Hello Adopt a Goldeners,
I just wanted to check in and thank you for my great life. You may remember me as Snickers but now I go by Brinkley. I have such a great family and everyone tells me I’m “just the sweetest”. I have put on a bit of weight and I must say I’m looking good. Mom says they may trail me for Happy Tails and I hear that’s pretty cool. But in the meantime I’m happy riding in the car and chasing tennis balls- I could do it all day. Thank you again for my wonderful life.
Lots of Love and Licks-
Brinkley

Hello Friends,
Apollo here, remember me? I was that large energetic one year old you rescued a couple of months ago. I am still big and full of energy and I am having a ball with my new family. I am the center of attention at all times and I love it. I go to work with my dad all the time and I slobber all over his car. I get to run every morning with my dad and we play and retrieve every evening. I love to go out to the lake and play in the water and chase birds, squirrels and airplanes (which fascinate me- they are the coolest). When my dad isn’t home, my mom lets me up on the couch and on the bed and I love to cuddle. I am having a blast and I am so glad that I live here and I get to stay forever.
Thanks so much AGA,
King Apollo

Dear Adopt A Golden,
Blizzard here. My name used to be Snowcone. But my new family decided I was better suited for Blizzard. Since I have come to my new home with my new human family I have had a great haircut and I feel great!!! I am living a great life! I even have a new Golden sister named May May and a cat brother named Jingle. I go on walks with my family and go on the golfcart for picnics in the neighboorhood. I've heard some people think dogs my size are too big for the house but my new family doesn't think that at all. They think I fit just right!
I hope you enjoy the pic of me in the golfcart with my new human sister, Emily Grace.
Sincerely,
Blizzard (aka Snowcone)

Hi AGA friends. I’m Lucy (AKA Sasha). I was rescued 2 years ago wheb I was only 4 moths old. Thanks to Adopt a Golden I know have a wonderful forever family. They take me camping all the time (my favorite thing to do). As soon as we get to the lake I jump in the water for a swim. In this picture you can see how happy I look riding a boeat for the first time in my life. I was so happy that I had to sit in the front to make sure I didn’t miss anything. My two human sisters, Julia 10, and Morgan 8, made sure I was safe with a life vest.
Love,
Lucy

Hi Y'all,
Thought I'd drop you a line to let you know I'm doin' great! Life's never been better!
I'm an inside dog now, with my own bed, my own toys, and two new brothers. I'm working real hard on learning good manners, and how to be a cool, calm, golden.
All three of us take walks everyday with our mom. We get to swim in the lake, chase ducks, watch the fishermen, and, my favorite thing, roll around on the grass and watch the squirrels.
I love knowing that I'm wanted here in this family, and that I've been given a chance to become the kind of girl I've always wanted to be.
Thanks, AGA, for your part in my new life!
Taffy (once known as Daphne)
