Hello to all my friend's at adopt-a-golden.

I miss you and thank you so much for taking care of me until I found my forever family. I am sorry I haven't "written" before now, but as you can see from the pics, I've been a little busy! I graduated from puppy school already! I looove my new friend around the corner, Everest ( yes he was with you too!) Thanks again for a great start. I will try to write again soon, but you know how busy it is in the fall with all the leaves falling( someone's got to chase them! )

Loves and Licks,

Luna

Hello Adopt a Golden Friends,

Gatsby here... my name used to be Skipper but my family thought I was more of a Gatsby and I have to agree! I just wanted to let you all know about a very special group of kids... and two are my kids!! They call themselves the Pink Panthers and they love me so much that they wanted to do something to help other goldens that need rescue. So they baked and baked dog treats for a long time, I was the official taster, and then sold them at Goldenrama!

They made alot, I hear thats good, and then guess what they did? They are sponsoring another orphan named Buddy so he can get well. Aren't my kids special?

I'll name them in the picture so you know who's who. Davis Esslinger, Laurel Lee Chatham, Mary-Crawford Esslinger, Sarah Kallis, Mary-Holt Crewdson and then me!

Thanks so much AGA,

Gatsby

Dear AGA,

As you can see I am working very hard at my new job decorating at the Atlanta Decorative Arts Center. I had no idea that decorating was so much fun!

Thanks for everything!

Riley

Dear AGA Friends,

I wanted to let you know much I love my new home. I have two doggie sisters to keep me company and we all get along great (even though I don’t always like it when they get more attention than me!). My mom and dad thank you guys every day for me – they tell me they love me a whole lot. I love to go for rides in the car though my really favorite time is taking a nap. I have made new friends at my special vet who is helping me with my itchy skin – every day is a new adventure for me!

Lastly and most importantly, I want to thank you guys for rescuing me and helping all the other goldens out there like me who are just looking for someone to love and to love them back. You are the best!!!

Love,
MoonPie

Adopt a Golden Friends,

Reagan here, I was the abandoned 7 month old pup you found at Ronald Reagan Park. I just wanted to say hi and thank you for giving me the best life ever. My forever home and family are the greatest and things are even better now that we have Rusty. Rusty was hit and rolled by a car, abandoned, and thrown in a shelter for days. AGA came to his rescue and we planned to foster Rusty till he got back on his paws. But in minutes it was obvious that me and Rusty were meant to be together forever. He is my very best friend and I could not have asked for a better brother. Mom and dad always tell me that I am the easy perfect dog, but Rusty likes to get himself into trouble. He loves to chew on things and once ate a whole cooked chicken. I think it’s funny but I’m trying to teach him to be good. We’re always together so I know soon he will understand it’s better to behave because that’s how you get the treats. Either way, me, Rust, mom and dad thank you AGA for giving us all such a wonderful forever!!!!

Love,
Reagan and Rusty

Hey AGA!

Remember me, Moreland? I was found wandering the streets and you all were kind enough to give me some great foster parents and treat me for those yucky heartworms. Well as you can see, these days I’m one happy, healthy, good looking guy. I have the best forever home- with four kids and a great mom and dad. My best pal is probably my Pink Panther doll- it’s the coolest and one of my girls gave it to me so it’s extra special. I carry it everywhere I go. This is a picture of me and my neighbor Duke. We’re good friends. I’m still trying to figure out what kind of dog he is because he is a whole lot bigger than any of the animals I met during my days on the streets. Mom says he’s a horse but I’ve never heard of that bread. Either way, Duke is fun. I give him lots of kisses (he is a lot bigger than me after all, you have to be nice). Life is great and I have all of you to thank.

Love and Licks,
Moreland

Hello Adopt a Goldeners,

I just wanted to check in and thank you for my great life. You may remember me as Snickers but now I go by Brinkley. I have such a great family and everyone tells me I’m “just the sweetest”. I have put on a bit of weight and I must say I’m looking good. Mom says they may trail me for Happy Tails and I hear that’s pretty cool. But in the meantime I’m happy riding in the car and chasing tennis balls- I could do it all day. Thank you again for my wonderful life.

Lots of Love and Licks-
Brinkley

Dear Adopt A Golden,

Blizzard here. My name used to be Snowcone. But my new family decided I was better suited for Blizzard. Since I have come to my new home with my new human family I have had a great haircut and I feel great!!! I am living a great life! I even have a new Golden sister named May May and a cat brother named Jingle. I go on walks with my family and go on the golfcart for picnics in the neighboorhood. I've heard some people think dogs my size are too big for the house but my new family doesn't think that at all. They think I fit just right!

I hope you enjoy the pic of me in the golfcart with my new human sister, Emily Grace.

Sincerely,
Blizzard (aka Snowcone)
