BIO:
I'm 5 and from a city in Turkey which is pretty far from where most of the goldens came from in Istanbul. What are the chances of any dog being so lucky? And speaking of lucky- thank you to Suzan Hayes for being my angel sponsor. Now that's a special honor and I love her for being so nice and generous. By helping me she helps us all! I'm used to a home because I had a foster in Turkey. My AGA foster has been working very hard to find out as much as she could about me so I could tell you. I'm very savvy about the "going outside rule". When it's time I push the door with my foot or my nose. Pretty smart hey? I love being in the fenced yard where I can make those squirrels run but I love taking walks too. I need a strong walker person because I am very energetic. I love my Easy Walk harness which helps me walk like a lady. My foster brother dog is a good guy and I like him but not when he gets near my stuff-like my food, my toys or too close to me. I might say "Grrr" but I don't do anything mean. I do like my space! People? Maybe I'm a little careful with strangers at first but I can't resist getting to know them. I'm also very cautious about sudden loud noises or sometimes cars when I'm on my walks. I'm no trouble in the house because I just like to take it easy, maybe play with a toy, or snooze but I do give a bark or two is someone comes to the door. I'm not a big girl--maybe need to lose a couple of my 65 pounds. All in all I would probably prefer to be an only dog with grown ups. That way I could get all the brushing and baths and attention-which I love. They say I'm named for a famous TV mom who had a husband who fixed things (sort of) and boys who sometimes tried her patience. Who was this mom? Hugs from me-Jill
