Maggie Senior - Adopted!
I'm 9 now and all of my life I have lived with the family that first adopted me from AGA. Now I have to leave and find a new home because things are not the same any more. I'm looking for a special person or people who understand that senior dogs need loving and care just like the younger dogs do. Sometimes in this world, senior dogs and senior people are overlooked and that's a big mistake! We have a special club here at AGA called the "Golden Hearts Club" for anyone who knows that adopting a senior golden is something extraordinary. I am in good health and fairly small for a golden (43 pounds). I love to take walks on my leash and do need a fenced yard but an open gate is an invitation too hard to resist! The open road is irresistible! I love gentle, kind children and friendly dogs but I'll pass on the cat things. It's very hard and sad for me to think about having to move to a new home after being in one for so long but I hope someone out there will understand that. I'll do my best to fit in and make you glad you chose me. Lots of kisses, Maggie P.S. My new doctor and all the AGA folks said I just earned the "sweetheart" award!!.
