Update: I am enjoying being in foster care but I am still very shy. My foster brother is teaching me lots of things and I would like to have another dog in my new home to help me feel more comfortable and also gain some confidence. I'll need someone who will go slow with me and show me patience. I am learning to walk on a leash and not be afraid of cars but I still need some help with that. I like being outside so I would love a fenced in yard. Thank you for reading about me!
I've heard that when a person is shy they might be called a "shrinking
violet". Maybe that is why I was named Violet, because I am a shy girl. I am about 9 years old and need a little time to be comfortable after I meet people I don't know, but AGA says I will be so loved that I won't have time to worry about being shy. They say all I have to do is be my own sweet self. I am getting my check-up at my new dog doctor's place and then I will wait in a foster home. AGA is going to help me find a wonderful new home all my own where I can live and take care of my people. I would like to have a yard with a fence where I will feel safe and live a quiet life with my people. I'm used to other dogs so one that is quiet and friendly would be good company for me, I think. I want to sleep in the sunshine and feel cool breezes at night. I want to have my own soft bed and feel people pet me and talk to me. That's what they call TLC. Would you come and meet me and be the person I need? Love and hugs, Violet
