As we start 2026, our greatest need remains funding critical medical care for the dogs who need us most. Support Medical Care in 2026
A Message from our President
Happy New Year from Adopt A Golden Atlanta!
As we welcome 2026, I want to pause and say thank you, from the bottom of my heart, to every person who makes Adopt A Golden Atlanta what it is.
To our volunteers: you are the backbone of this organization. Whether you foster, transport, screen applications, attend Meet & Greets, help behind the scenes, or step in wherever you’re needed, your time, compassion, and commitment change lives every single day.
To our donors and supporters: your generosity allows us to say “yes” to dogs who have nowhere else to turn. Because of you, we can cover critical medical care, surgeries, rehabilitation, and ongoing treatment for Goldens who need it most. The medical needs never stop, and neither does our responsibility to meet them with care and urgency.
And to our broader AGA community: thank you for believing in this mission, for spreading the word, and for standing with us as we do this important work together.
Looking ahead, I’m incredibly excited about what this year holds. We have strong momentum, an engaged and passionate team, and a shared commitment to doing right by the dogs who depend on us. There is still much work to be done, but there is no doubt in my mind that together, we can meet the challenges ahead and continue changing lives—one Golden at a time.
Here’s to a year filled with teamwork, compassion, and many happy endings.
Happy New Year!
