Hey there, I’m August, a two-year-old golden boy with a big heart, a playful spirit, and a lot of love to give. Life’s been a bit of a roller coaster for me lately. My last family loved me, but they were gone for too many hours during the day, and did not have the time to give me the training I needed and wanted. So now I’m with AGA, looking for a home that fully understands me and all I need.
I’m a fun, energetic guy who loves to play and spend time with my people. I get along great with other dogs and would do best in a home with no cats. I do really well with older kids, as sometimes I do not know my size and get super excited and get the zoomies! I need someone who can help me keep learning good manners and leash training. Otherwise, I’m all about tail wags, belly rubs, and couch snuggles. I’m still on the thin side, but I’m eating well and feeling stronger every day. What I’d really love now is a patient, understanding family that will help me become the best I can be.
