Bailey

December was the month my life changed — and I’m so glad it did. I’m Bailey, a six-year-old girl who came to Adopt a Golden Atlanta after my breeder knew I needed a little extra help. When I arrived, I wasn’t feeling my best. I had heartworms and was pretty sick with gastroenteritis, but even on my hardest days, I never stopped hoping for something better.

Then I met my foster family and everything started to turn around. They cared for me every step of the way, helping me heal, building my confidence, and showing me what it means to feel safe and loved. Somewhere along the way… it became clear to all of us: I wasn’t just visiting — I was already home.

Now I’m healthy, happy, and living my best life. I get to go to fun events, join my mom at work (where I’ve become quite the local celebrity), and continue learning and growing every day.

From not feeling my best… to truly thriving — I’d say I landed exactly where I was meant to be. Love, Bailey
