Hi everyone, it’s me, Bear, though these days my family calls me Ozzy Bear. My journey started in Savannah, where I was found wandering the streets all on my own. A kind person took me in and kept me safe through my stray hold, but since she already had dogs of her own, she couldn’t keep me forever. That’s when AGA stepped in to help me find the home I truly needed. At 4 years old and 81 pounds, I’m what you’d call a gentle giant. When I met my new family, who are longtime AGA volunteers and adopters, I wasn’t quite sure what to think at first. They drove all the way up from Macon and brought their two dogs, Sam and Willow, to meet me. I’ll admit, I was a little nervous around my smaller siblings-to-be. But with patience and some tail wags, I realized they weren’t so scary after all.

Now, we’re busy becoming the best of friends. We’ve started bonding over our favorite activity, chasing chipmunks in the big backyard! I’m also figuring out how to play gently with my new little sister. It’s a learning curve, but I’m catching on fast. The best part? My family’s flexible schedule means I’m rarely left alone! There’s almost always someone home to keep me company and give me love. From a lost boy on the streets to a cherished member of a family, my life has truly changed. I’m home, and it feels wonderful. Thank you to everyone who helped me get here. Your kindness led me straight to my forever. Love Ozzy Bear (formerly Bear)
