Hi there, I’m Belle, and this is what love feels like. For a long time, I lived mostly outside, waiting and wondering. When my owner didn’t come back, I was passed along and eventually offered for free online. By the time AGA found me, I was tired and not feeling well at all, my body was fighting parasites, infections, and sore knees that needed surgery. But even then, I held onto hope.

AGA stepped in and gave me everything I needed: medical care, surgery, healing, and the kindness of wonderful foster families who loved me while I recovered. Day by day, I felt stronger, safer, and more like myself again. Now I go by the name Oakley, and I never have to worry about being left outside or going without care. My mom is retired and has made it her full-time job to spoil me. I have a fenced yard to relax and play in, a warm home, and a heart that is finally at peace. I am deeply loved, completely safe, and living proof of what rescue is all about. With gratitude and gentle tail wags, Oakley (formerly known as Belle)
