Hi there, I’m Belle, a 7-year-old golden girl around 70 lbs with a heart full of love and a story that’s finally looking up. My journey’s been a little bumpy. I was offered for free on Craigslist, but thankfully, some kind folks from AGA reached out to make sure I’d find a safe, loving home through rescue. My previous owner had me for about a year after a friend left me with her and never came back. I used to live indoors, but this past year, I’ve been spending most of my time outside. And oh, how I miss being part of a family again.
Even with all that, my tail still wags for everyone I meet. I adore attention, am completely potty trained, and get along great with other dogs. I’m not a fan of cats or chickens (they’re just too tempting), but I promise I’ll make up for it with endless love and loyalty. The nice people at AGA think I might have a little trouble with my knees, but don’t worry, I’m getting an orthopedic consult to see how they can help me feel my best again.
What I really dream of is a cozy home where I can curl up inside, soak up belly rubs, and finally know I’m safe and loved for good. I’m ready for my second chance… could that be with you Love, Belle
