Ben, an 8 year old male purebred golden, needed a new home. Earlier this year, Ben had been brought to a shelter by a good samaritan. It was obvious to us that Ben had been chained to a tree. He was then adopted by a family who loved him. But unfortunately, Ben couldn’t adapt to their lifestyle. Ben hated being alone and he hated thunderstorms. Ben is very needy. Ben needed a home where he would never be left alone. We thought we would be searching for a while but a family who has an older dog that looks exactly like Ben had started looking. Well, it was love at first sight! Ben now has a stay at home Mom, a Dad who has a home office, a grandpa who lives in the neighborhood and a human sister who will dog sit anytime. Ben and Bailey now sleep together and are off to the Hilton Head house this week. We expect to see Ben paw surfing the waves any minute. To all those people who have had the pure pleasure of knowing Ben, you can rest assured that Ben has truely found his forever home.
