Callaway,a 1.5 year old female purebred golden, came from a backyard breeder. Her owner had too many dogs and decided not to breed her(thank goodness) but unfortunately she turned Callaway into a shelter. Shelter’s can’t keep owner surrenders very long and Callaway’s time was running out. Callaway was picked up by one of our volunteers who immediately offered to foster her. Within hours there was talk of not letting her go. Callaway was fitting in perfectly with this home. A stay at home Mom for Callaway, a Dad and an older golden to learn all the ropes from. And two spaniels too! Wow, and a big backyard to play in. Today, Callaway is Sadie Mae and is having the time of her life. She’s never had so much attention and so much love. And yes, there goes another foster home!
