The world is full of people to meet, places to sniff, and joy to chase… and I’m determined to experience all of it. I’m Chuck, a 1-year-old, 51-pound purebred Golden who wandered into a shelter as a stray and somehow managed to stay cheerful through it all. My big grin and bigger heart caught AGA’s attention, and now I’m finally getting my chance at a real home.
I’ve got energy in every limb, puppy spark in every step, and enough enthusiasm to fuel a small city. I adore people, and every lap I can possibly reach. I’m still learning my manners, still figuring out cues and calm moments, but I’m eager to be guided and even more eager to please. The kennel life was stressful for me, so we’re not yet sure how l am with other animals. What we do know is that I thrive when I have people to love and space to stretch my legs.
Give me patient training, daily outlets for my Golden zest, and someone who sees potential instead of chaos, and I’ll become the loyal, goofy, golden-hearted companion you’ve always pictured at your feet (and sometimes on your lap — I can’t promise I won’t try).
