My name is Cooper, and I’m an English cream gentleman who is almost 7 years old, with a soft heart and an easygoing soul. I’ve been loved by my family since I was a puppy, but life had some changes. My mom began going in and out of a nursing home, and my dad realized he couldn’t give me the adventures, attention, and joy he wanted for me. Letting me go was incredibly hard, but he trusted AGA to help me find the life he hoped I’d have. That kind of love stays with a dog forever.

I’m house trained, well-mannered, and perfectly fine being left alone. I’ve lived happily with another dog and still enjoy playtime, but I’d also be content as an only dog. I’m friendly with everyone I meet and good with kids, though my size makes older children a better fit. I love long walks, car rides, and especially water… I never miss a chance to splash around. A fenced yard would be ideal since I enjoy wandering and keeping an eye out for squirrels. I’m also carrying a little extra weight right now, so gentle exercise and healthy routines will help me feel my best again.

My foster family says I’m an angel and a joy to have around, which makes my tail wag every time I hear it. I’m calm, affectionate, and ready for a home where I can be loved, included, and enjoy the next chapter of my life at a slower, happier pace.
