Hi there, I’m Delta. I’m an 8-month-old Golden Retriever/Great Pyrenees mix, and I’ve come a long, long way. When I first came to AGA with my brother Alpha, I was so scared of everything, people, noises, new places, you name it. I even got spooked and ran off into the woods at my foster home. (Oops!) Thankfully, a team of kind humans worked together to help me feel safe and bring me back. That’s when they realized I needed a confident buddy to help me feel brave.
Enter Marty. He’s everything I wasn’t… playful, fearless, bouncy, and full of joy. At first, I wasn’t sure what to make of him, but pretty quickly… he became my safe place. We played, we snuggled, and soon I started to feel something I hadn’t felt in a while, happy. When I met my family, I knew they were special. But when they said yes to bringing both me and Marty (now named Loki) home? That’s when I knew I’d found forever. I’m still learning, still growing, but now I’ve got a best friend and a family who loves us just the way we are. With love and newfound courage, Delta Pup
