I may be gentle and a little reserved at first, but once I feel comfortable, my happy spirit shines through. I’m already house trained and pretty proud of how much I’ve learned — I know helpful cues like “potty,” “outside,” “treat,” “lunch,” “down,” “good girl,” “off,” and “no.” I walk nicely on a leash, love stretching my legs with a good run in the yard, and have wonderful indoor manners. I don’t jump, I’m not a chewer, and I even know when I’m full at mealtime (sometimes I save a little snack for later).
I’m surprisingly independent for a young pup and can be left alone without worry, but when my people are around, I’m all about affection. I adore cuddles, enjoy lounging on the couch during the day, and love playtime with my dog friends. I get along beautifully with other dogs and currently play very nicely with a calm, older golden who’s helping show me the ropes. I think a home with another dog and a fenced yard would be best for me. And fair warning — if a squirrel appears, my playful side comes out fast!
When it comes to new people, I can be shy and a bit unsure, especially around unfamiliar men or older kids. I do best when introductions are slow, calm, and kind, giving me time to feel safe and confident. Once I know I’m okay, my sweet nature takes over. Cats are still a mystery for me, though I do enjoy a good chase if something scurries by.
I’m a loving, well-mannered, thoughtful young girl who’s ready to keep growing in the right home — one that understands patience, gentle guidance, and the beauty of watching a shy pup blossom. If you’re looking for a loyal companion with a soft soul and lots of love to give, I just might be your girl. Hopeful hugs, Diana Pup
