My name is Dudley, and I’ve learned that even after a long, lonely road, kindness can still find you. For about a year, I lived as a stray, doing my best to get by on my own. When animal control finally brought me to safety, it didn’t take long for AGA to say, “This sweet boy belongs with us.” Since then, my life has slowed down in all the best ways. I’m a 10-year-old gentleman, about 39 pounds, and I have a calm, gentle nature. I would love a quiet home where I can feel safe, be doted on, and spend my days curled up in a soft, cozy bed.
I do have severe arthritis, but it’s being well-managed with medication. Because of that, I need a home with little to no stairs so I can move comfortably and keep enjoying the simple things — slow strolls, warm naps, and loving company. I’m not looking for much… just a calm place to rest my head, gentle hands to love me, and a family who understands that senior dogs still have so much heart to give.
