Hi, I am Eden and I am finally living the life I always dreamed of. For five years, I was a breeder dog. When that chapter ended, my story nearly did too. I was surrendered to a shelter with a suggestion that I be euthanized, but thankfully, the shelter saw my worth and called AGA instead. That call changed everything.

The very next day, I took my freedom ride straight to the home to my foster family, longtime AGA volunteers who welcomed me with open arms. I arrived dehydrated, underweight, and with skin issues, but my spirit never wavered. I quickly realized I had hit the jackpot: a backyard perfect for zoomies, a cozy bed every night, endless kindness, and a foster brother, AGA alum Max, who showed me how good life could be.

During my medical exams, the vets found a heart murmur that needed extra care. They stood by me through specialist visits, recovery, and healthy weight gain. And somewhere along the way, we all realized the truth — I wasn’t just healing in their home… I already was home. Today, I’m Nelly, named after golfer Nelly Korda. I live on a golf course where I proudly supervise golfers and deer as they pass by (yes, barking is part of my job). I’m healthy, adored, and officially the queen of the Bunting household. My journey began with uncertainty, but it ends with love, safety, and forever. Thank you for believing in me when it mattered most. Love, Nelly (formerly Eden)
