Hi friends, I’m Eden, a 5-year-old, 56-pound, Golden girl who’s just starting to learn what it means to be loved. For most of my life, I was a breeder dog — my world was small and quiet, and I didn’t know how good life could be. When my breeder decided to stop working with big dogs, I was left behind at a shelter with my friend Evan. They were told to “do whatever they wanted” with us… but thankfully, AGA stepped in and gave us a second chance.
Now that I’m safe, I’m slowly discovering all the beautiful things I’ve been missing — gentle pets, cozy naps, and how wonderful it feels to have someone care. I’m still underweight and healing from the neglect I faced, but I have a big heart and so much love to give. I’m a little shy at first, but once I know I’m safe, my tail starts to wag and I melt right into you. I’d love a home with a fenced yard where I can explore at my own pace, and another friendly dog to show me the ropes. I’m learning what family means — and I can’t wait to find one of my very own. Love you, Eden
