Hi friends, it’s Emma, and I have the happiest news to share! Not too long ago, I was a stray in South Georgia. I ended up in a shelter, waiting and hoping someone would come for me, but no one ever did. That’s when AGA stepped in to give me a second chance. They discovered I had heartworms, which meant my journey to adoption would take some extra time. But fate had other plans for me. Some longtime AGA volunteers had just lost their sweet Diesel and were looking for a companion for their golden girl, Annie. They knew exactly what it takes to help a pup through heartworm treatment, and when they heard about me, they didn’t hesitate. They opened their hearts and their home, and I began my foster-to-adopt adventure.
Fast forward to September, I’m officially heartworm-free and officially adopted! Now I have the best life a girl could ask for: a mom and dad who are home most of the time, a golden sister to show me the ropes, a big fenced yard to play in, and even a pool for swimming! I’ve already gone on a beach vacation and discovered just how wonderful sand and surf can be. From a lonely shelter to a life filled with love, I finally have my happy ending. Thank you to everyone who believed in me and helped me find my forever family. Love, Emma
