From recovery snuggles to forever adventures… hello, I’m Evan. I came to AGA from a breeder who decided to focus on smaller dogs, and I arrived with a little extra challenge… a mass that needed to be removed. After surgery and some healing time (I wear my scar with pride), I was finally ready to find my people. At a Meet & Greet event, I made quite the impression. Turns out, a brave Golden with a story and a wagging tail is hard to resist. Then I met my people, and my heart knew right away. They had recently said goodbye to their beloved AGA alum, Clio, and were ready to welcome another Golden into their lives. After a couple of visits, one very important meeting included my new human sisters, and everyone agreed: I was home.
Now I go by Oz. I love long walks, exploring our big backyard, meeting new neighborhood dog friends, and — surprisingly — I actually enjoy baths. (Which is very helpful, because I do have a talent for finding messes.) Thank you to everyone, especially my amazing foster, who helped me through surgery and into this beautiful next chapter. I’m feeling great, deeply loved, and very excited for all that 2026 has to bring. Forever home, Oz
