Hi, I’m Gatsby, your classic gentleman with a golden heart! I’m 5 years old and searching for a fresh start with a family who’s ready for a big-hearted buddy like me. I’ve been described as sweet, calm, and loving, and I totally agree. I’m housetrained, know a few cool tricks like sit, shake, and down, and I’m currently living in foster care with two doggy friends, and loving it. I’d really like a home with another dog to keep me company. I’ve never been a solo pup, and I don’t think I’m meant to be one. I also don’t need a crate when you leave, and I love to chase a tennis ball and play with my toys (I love my parrot toy!). Oh, and I love rides in the car! Basically, I’m your dream co-pilot with a golden smile.

I love kids, but because of my size and enthusiasm, I’m better suited to a home without small children. What can I say, I’m just a big softie who doesn’t always realize his own strength. What really makes me special is my sweet, sensitive nature. I love being close to my people and will happily follow you around the house like your fluffy little (well, big) shadow. A fenced-in yard would be a dream come true. I just feel happiest outside in the fresh air, playing or relaxing. I’ve got lots of love to give and can’t wait to find a home where I can truly shine.
