Hi, I’m Honey, and I’ve just started the sweetest chapter of my life. For the first four years, I was a mama dog. I didn’t know what it meant to live in a house or be part of a family. When I first came to AGA, I was scared and unsure of everything. My first week in foster care was rough.. I went into heat, had painful ear infections, and a yucky hotspot that made me feel miserable. But my foster mom? She was patient, gentle, and gave me space to learn. And little by little, I started to trust her. I even found myself sneaking over for chin scratches. I’d never known kindness like that before.

There was so much I had to figure out, like eating out of a bowl, climbing stairs, and walking on a leash. It was all new, but with love and encouragement, I got braver every day. Then came the perfect family. previous AGA adopters and total dog lovers. They met me, saw my gentle soul, and knew I still needed time and tenderness. They didn’t hesitate. They welcomed me into their home and hearts, ready to help me continue to grow. Now, I’ve got a whole house full of humans who adore me, and a big brother, Barley the Lab, to show me the ropes. We go on walks together, explore the yard, and nap like pros. For the first time, I feel safe. I feel loved. I feel home. Thank you, AGA, and thank you to everyone who believed in me. Love, Honey
