They call me Hoss, the lovable bear with the biggest heart and the strongest cuddle game. I came to AGA after a scary experience where I was attacked by two dogs. It left me unsure around other pups, but my love for people? That never wavered. Big people, little people, if you have hands, they are meant to pet me. I give affection like it’s my full-time job.
At the December Meet & Greet, I showed up in reindeer antlers and soaked up every ounce of love in the room. I was friendly with everyone, but then… I found my people. Their laps were clearly designed just for me, and I made sure to sit on every single one so they understood the assignment. I claimed them. Happily.
I had one final test, meeting the family cats… and I passed with flying colors. Just like that, I was home. Now I have a human brother I absolutely adore, and a mom and dad who work from home, which means my favorite thing — constant human connection — is always available. These days you’ll find me posted up on the deck, bravely guarding the yard from any potential squirrel invasion. None shall pass on my watch.
My Christmas wish came true: a quiet, loving home filled with gentle days, cozy moments, and more hands to pet me than I ever thought possible. Thank you to everyone, especially my amazing fosters, who loved me through a tough chapter and helped me find my forever. Forever yours, Hoss
