Hi everyone, I’m Jack, though these days, I answer to Jax! My story started out pretty rough. When my old family moved away, they left me and my buddy behind. We didn’t understand why, so we just kept roaming, hoping someone would come for us. Sadly, my friend didn’t make it, but some kind neighbors refused to let my story end the same way. They called AGA, and before I knew it, some very kind people showed up and gently coaxed me into safety. I was tired, hungry, and ready for a new start, and when that car door opened, I hopped right in. In foster care, I learned what it felt like to be loved again. My foster mom laughed when I did my little “happy dance” at mealtime. I couldn’t help it! Life was good again, and soon enough, the perfect family saw my smile and knew I belonged with them. Now, I have my very own fenced yard, squeaky toys, and parents who adore me. I even have a sweet little Yorkie sister named Anni, and we get along great. When our family’s other golden visits, the fun triples! These days, I spend my mornings wagging my tail, my afternoons exploring the neighborhood, and my nights sleeping soundly on my cozy bed. I’ve learned that sometimes the hardest journeys lead you exactly where you’re meant to be. I’m home now, and it feels amazing. Thank you to everyone who helped me find my people! Love, Jax (formerly Jack)
