My name is Lady Pup, and I’m a 10-month-old golden girl weighing about 60 pounds. I have a playful personality, a big heart, and lots of puppy energy!
My previous owners got me from a friend who had an accidental litter. And they just found out they have a baby on the way and realized I needed more than they could provide me. They worked long hours, and we lived in an apartment, so I was crated for most of the day. So, now I am at AGA to find a forever family where I can truly thrive.
I’m house-trained and love being with my people. I enjoy walks, playtime, and soaking up attention. Like any puppy, I’m still learning, and I’ll thrive with a family committed to continued positive-reinforcement training to help me build confidence and grow into the amazing adult dog I know I can be.
I had one scary experience with a crate when I was already feeling uncomfortable during my first heat cycle, so I’m looking for a patient family who will continue to make my crate a safe, happy place with encouragement and rewards. We think because of this experience, I prefer not to be touched on my backside, as it still makes me uncomfortable.
I can be a little strong-willed at times, especially around my food, so I’m looking for a dog-savvy family with older children or an adult-only home that understands positive, consistent training.
I have shown to be good with other dogs with slow and proper introductions. I would do best in a home with a fenced yard and where someone is home more than not.
