Lady

My name is Lady, and I’m a 1-year-old golden girl weighing about 50 pounds. I have a big heart, lots of love to give, and I’m looking for a very special family who will give me the time and patience I need to truly blossom.

My life before AGA had some difficult moments, and I’m still working through a few trust issues as I learn that I’m safe and don’t have to worry anymore. The good news is that I’m making progress, and AGA is committed to helping me continue that journey. I’m looking for someone willing to work with me through AGA-sponsored professional training.

Underneath it all, I’m a sweet girl who loves people and enjoys being close to my humans. I’m also house-trained and ready to learn. I just need a dog-savvy person who understands that trust takes time and is willing to be patient, consistent, and committed to helping me become the very best version of myself.

I would do best with another relaxed, confident dog who can help show me that life is pretty great, and that humans are too. I also need someone who is home more than not, a fenced yard, and a home without kids or cats so I can have the calm, structured environment I need.

I know I may not be the easiest girl to bring home right away, but I promise I am worth the time. I’m looking for someone who will see my potential, celebrate my progress, and help me continue learning what it means to feel safe, loved, and at home.
