My name is Lilly 2, and I’m a 7-year-old golden girl with a soft heart and a gentle, loyal nature. I’ve had a couple of changes in my life, but through it all, I’ve remained a sweet, well-mannered companion who just wants to be close to my people. I’m house-trained, respectful in the home, and I know how to sit and patiently wait for my meals like a good girl.
I can be a little startled by sudden noises or unfamiliar people at first, and I may bark for a moment while I figure things out… but my tail is usually wagging the whole time. Once I feel comfortable, I settle right in. I also have a funny little “smile” where I show my teeth when I’m happy!
I would love to be the only dog in the home, soaking up all the attention. I would do best in a home with older kids or adults, as younger children and sharing my toys can make me feel a bit unsure. Because of that, I do appreciate having my toys respected as mine so I can feel relaxed and secure.
I enjoy being outside, exploring, and keeping an eye on the world around me. I grew up being used to having space to roam and would love a home where I can safely enjoy the outdoors. I walk well on the leash, but sometimes when other dogs move too fast it startles me. I do best with slow and neutral introductions.
