Merlot

Hi everyone, it’s me, Merlot, though these days I answer to Poppy! Not too long ago, I was one of three little goldens and four puppies in a crowded northern shelter. Things felt pretty uncertain, but then AGA swooped in and promised us a brighter future. In my foster home, I started to bloom, just like my name, mellow Merlot, I slowly ripened into the sweet, gentle girl I was meant to be. At a meet & greet event, my new family spotted me and fell in love with my petite size and calm temperament. I had one last hurdle… convincing their cat to like me. But with my charm and patience, I won him over. Now we’re buddies! These days, life is a dream. I have a mom who’s home most of the time, two amazing teenage sisters to play with, a big yard to run in, and even a pool for lounging or swimming. Plus, my new neighborhood is filled with dog friends, so I’ll never be short on playdates. From red wine to red flower, I’ve truly blossomed.
