A little sassy, a little sweet, and now completely home. Hello from me, Riesling (but now I go by Reese). I came to AGA with my siblings after the wonderful folks at the Chattooga County Animal Shelter called for help. They were full to the brim, and the AGA team didn’t hesitate, they hopped in their cars and whisked us all to safety, cuddles, and clean beds in Atlanta.
I met a lot of lovely families, but I’ll be honest… I knew exactly what I wanted in my forever home. No cats, and definitely no long stretches alone. A girl has standards! So I waited… patiently, proudly, and maybe with a little diva flair. Then came MY family. From the moment they walked in, something clicked. I fit right in with their resident Goldens like I’d always been part of the pack, and my sparkly, sassy personality? They adored it. Their daughter started calling me “Reese,” and that sweet little nickname wrapped itself around my heart in seconds.
Now I’ve got a family who understands me, dogs who play with me, humans who never want me to feel lonely again, and a forever life filled with the love I insisted on waiting for. Oh, and my DNA test is in progress. Whatever shows up, I already know the most important part: I’m 100% loved. Thank you to everyone who helped me find my perfect match.
