Hi there! My name’s Rookie Doodle, but my friends just call me Rookie, probably because I’m the kind of guy who’s always ready to jump in the game! I’m a 2-year-old, 73-pound golden doodle with a big heart, a bigger smile, and plenty of energy to keep up with an active family. I’ve been with my people since I was just 8 weeks old, but a recent change in family dynamics means I’m now looking for a new team to cheer for, one with room for a playful, goofy guy like me.
I adore people, get excited when meeting new friends, and I’m always up for an adventure. I know my basic commands, sit, stay, come, and down, and I’m fully potty trained. I ride great in the car, love to go running, and I’m happiest when I’m included in family activities. I do have a lot of energy, think “big happy doodle bounce” energy, so a fenced yard and an active family would be perfect for me. I’d also do best with older kids who can keep up with my enthusiasm. I play pretty hard with other dogs, so a dog my size (or bigger) would make a good buddy.
