From groomed curls to forever cuddles — hello from me, Rookie Doodle – although I go by Aloo now! My first family loved me dearly but didn’t have enough time for a people-loving doodle like me. I then spent wonderful weeks with a foster family who discovered exactly who I am: a joyful, excited, “everyone is my friend” kind of boy with a soft spot for children and cozy laps.
Then came my family — they are newlyweds starting their life together and dreaming of a doodle to make their house a home. They met me before their wedding and knew instantly I was the one. So after their “I do,” they made it my big moment too. On the way home from their honeymoon, they scooped me up, renamed me Aloo (which means “Potato” in Hindi), and welcomed me into a home already filled with beds, toys, treats, and love.
I even made my debut at the AGA Santa photo event the very next day — freshly groomed and ready for the spotlight. My present didn’t come from Santa’s bag… it came in the form of a forever family who has all the time, attention, and joy I’ve been waiting for. Home at last, Aloo (formerly Rookie Doodle)
