Sometimes love means letting go, and that’s how my journey began. I’m Sadie, and when my family’s situation changed, they made the incredibly hard decision to let me go so I could have the time and attention I love so much. I was heartbroken and a little confused at first, but my wonderful foster family wrapped me in love and helped me find my footing again.
With their patience and care, my confidence grew, and soon my true, sweet personality started to shine. Then came the April Meet & Greet… and that’s where everything clicked.
I met my new parents and their daughter, and I just knew. I stayed close, gave kisses, and kept my eyes on them the entire time. Every time they came back near me, my tail wagged so hard it almost lifted me off the ground! After a few visits, it was clear. I had chosen my family.
Now I’m living the life I dreamed of. I have a quiet country road for long walks, a fenced yard to play in, and my very own girl to snuggle with. I’ve even been working on my “gardening skills” helping mom outside — and yes, I’ve enjoyed a pupsicle or two along the way. My mom says I’ve settled in beautifully, and I feel it too — this is home.
