My name is Sadie 2, and I’m a loving, easygoing 8-year-old golden girl ready for my next chapter.
I’m about 96 pounds (working on slimming down a bit), and I’ve been a well-loved family dog my whole life. With busy little ones at home, my family made the difficult decision to let AGA help me find a home where I can get the time and attention I deserve.
I’m truly a go-with-the-flow kind of girl. I’m great with dogs, cats, and children, and I handle new situations like a pro. I’m fully house-trained with no accidents and can be left alone for several hours without any trouble. I also do great on the leash and ride well in the car.
I’m more on the low-energy, easygoing side and happiest just being near my person. I tend to pick “my human” and lovingly shadow them around the house. I also really enjoy being outside, so a fenced yard is would be great so I can relax and take in the fresh air.
Because I’m a little overweight, I’ll need a home with limited stairs to keep me comfortable. I do have a few food allergies (fish, beef, and pork), so I do best sticking with chicken-based meals to keep me feeling my best. I also get some seasonal allergies and occasional hot spots, so staying on top of my care will help me feel my best.
At heart, I’m a very sweet, gentle girl who just wants a cozy home, a loving “mom” or “dad” to follow around, and a peaceful place to enjoy life.
