They say charm will get you everywhere… and I guess they’re right. When my beloved owner developed health issues and could no longer care for me, I found myself at a local shelter. It was a big change, but AGA stepped in to give me a fresh start. My fosters wanted to learn all about me, so they introduced me to new places, new people, and new dogs, nice and easy. I was eager to show them what a smart, devoted boy I am! I picked up commands quickly (I do love to please), and while I can be a little selective with some dogs, one thing was crystal clear: I absolutely adore kids.
So the search began for a family with children, and that’s when I met the my crew at Meet & Greet event. They had come hoping for a golden, but my good looks and sweet personality had other plans. When I visited their home, I was a true gentleman. It didn’t take long for all of us to know: this was it.
Now I have a big fenced yard to play in with my kids, parents who are home most of the time, and a whole collection of tennis balls that I proudly rotate every single morning. Fetch is my specialty, I sweetly deliver the ball to my big sister again and again (and again). At night, I snuggle up beside her to help with reading time… though we usually can’t keep our eyes open for long.
Mom says they’re over the moon with me. And me? I’m exactly where I’m meant to be, living a long, loving life full of ball chasing and bedtime snuggles. I am so happy to be home. Love, Santo Doodle
