Scarlet

Hi, it’s me, Scarlet! Not too long ago, life looked very different for me. I was found as a stray in terrible shape, with a painful neck wound from an embedded collar and the added challenge of being heartworm positive. Things felt pretty hopeless… until AGA stepped in and gave me the chance at a brand-new life. With their love and care, I got the medical help I needed and spent time in foster care, where I could finally just be a dog. Then came the best part, meeting my forever family! They had adopted from AGA before and opened their hearts and home to me as a foster-to-adopt. From day one, it felt like I belonged. Now, my heartworm treatment is behind me, and I’m officially theirs forever! I have a mom who works from home most of the time, a dad who makes sure I get plenty of love, and even an adult human sister who lives at home with me. I get daily walks, zoomies in my fenced yard, and the best surprise, a trip to the beach! For the first time, I don’t have to worry about being in pain or being alone. I’ve got a family who loves me endlessly, and that’s the happiest ending I could’ve ever imagined. Love, Scarlet
