Simba

Hi, I’m Simba, and I finally made it home. I found myself at a Fulton County shelter with two other Goldens, and when no one came looking for us, Adopt a Golden Atlanta stepped in to give us the second chance we were waiting for.

At my intake exam, I found out I was heartworm postitive, which meant I had a little extra journey ahead of me. But then I met MY family, and everything changed. They didn’t just fall in love with me… they stood by me through my entire treatment, giving me all the care, patience, and love I needed to get healthy again.

Now I’m a happy, energetic boy living my best life! I’ve got parents who are home during the day, an awesome canine brother named Brody, and even a human brother who comes home from college to hang out with me.

My days are filled with walks, running around the yard, naps, and some of my favorite adventures — trips to the lake.

From uncertain beginnings to a life full of love… I’d say I got the happily-ever-after I was dreaming of. With Love, Simba
