Hi friends, it’s me, Sunny 1! Not long ago, I found myself at the Dekalb shelter as a stray. I didn’t know what was next, but then AGA swooped in and said, “We’ve got you, sweet girl.” And just like that, my new chapter began. I headed to my foster home, and little did I know that it would turn into my forever home.
My family was missing their beloved Winston and had a big, dog-shaped hole in their hearts. They were willing to wait for the perfect pup… but lucky for all of us, they didn’t have to wait long. The moment we met, it was love at first sight! We all knew I was already home. But the only question left was whether their “grand-dog” would approve, and when we finally met, it was happy tail wags and big woofs all around.
Now I’m living my best life! I take long walks around the neighborhood (I’ve already met all the neighbors and their dogs), have a blast playing with my new toys, and spend lots of time in my favorite spot, the window seat, keeping an eye on the birds and squirrels in my backyard. I even get to go on playdates and am doing a little extra training to be the very best version of me. Life is golden, and I couldn’t be happier. To the best future ahead, Sunny 1
