Hi everyone, Sunny here, well, technically Sunny 2! Have you ever been in a room and realized someone else has the exact same name as you? That’s what happened when I came to AGA, there was already another gorgeous golden girl named Sunny! To keep things straight, they started calling me Sunny 2. I didn’t mind one bit… I had way bigger things to focus on, like finding my forever family.
The folks at AGA knew I’d do best in a home with another dog and maybe some kids to love. When my new family spotted me on the website, they knew they had to meet me, but first, I had to pass the “Cooper test.” Cooper is their sweet Lab, and at first, he wasn’t quite sure about me. But it didn’t take long before he realized I wasn’t there to take his place, I was there to be his sister! Now we’re best buddies, chasing balls, playing tug-of-war, and following each other around. I watch what he does so I can learn all the household “rules” (and some fun tricks, too).
Life is pretty awesome now. I love watching squirrels out the kitchen window, working on my peanut butter kongs, figuring out my food puzzle, and soaking up belly rubs. My new family says I’m settling in perfectly, and I think Cooper’s pretty happy with his new shadow. Thanks to everyone who helped me find my home. I’m right where I belong, Sunny 2
