My name is Sweetie, although these days I answer to Sydney — and this is the story of how Harvey and I found our forever together.
Harvey isn’t my brother by blood, but he’s my family in every way that matters. We shared an incredible dad who loved us with his whole heart, and when he unexpectedly passed away, our world changed overnight. We stayed by his side until help arrived, and while our hearts were hurting, AGA made us one very important promise: we would stay together.
Then something wonderful happened. Our new family had recently said goodbye to their two beloved AGA Goldens and were hoping, when the time felt right, to open their hearts again. When they saw Harvey and me on the AGA website, they had a feeling we were meant to find each other.
The moment we met, it just clicked. Now Harvey and I are settling into a beautiful forever home with a big fenced yard to explore, a nearby park for adventures, and a family that already loves us so much. We may have experienced heartbreak, but we’ve learned that love has a way of finding you again when you need it most.
