Let Your Light Shine!
AGA Volunteers Shine Bright in the Community
As a nonprofit organization, Adopt a Golden Atlanta (AGA) is 100% volunteer-based and donation-funded. The radiant spirit of our volunteers and supporters shines bright daily by helping so many deserving dogs throughout the community: a true example of what Giving Tuesday represents.
Because of the unwavering commitment of AGA volunteers and supporters, so many Goldens are thriving in their new forever homes, while even more are on their way to happy futures.
2024 has been a catastrophic year for rescues and shelters around the world: especially in Georgia. This is one reason, among many, why your support on Giving Tuesday is so important to AGA. In response to this growing crisis, this spring AGA volunteers collected food, bedding, toys and other essential items to help local animal shelters like Henry County - on top of taking in more dogs to our rescue (we will highlight some of these special Goldens and "honorary" Golden Retrievers next week).
This collective effort is just one tiny reflection of AGA's dedicated community of volunteers, whose kindness fuels the success of our mission. With the mounting crisis, we've not yet saved every Golden Retriever in Atlanta and surrounding areas and more come needing help to our doors every single day.
AGA would like to extend our warmest thanks to our dedicated volunteers, generous supporters, and loving adopters. Thank you for bringing light and kindness to our organization by being the GOLDEN HEROES of our community!Henry County Animal Control was excited to receive donated items from Adopt a Golden Atlanta Volunteers and Supporters.
