Hi Friends!
Henry here – Chief Golden Greeter and proud pup of Patti! While my mom usually writes this note, I decided to sneak in a few paw taps on the keyboard and take over this month. (Don’t worry, I paid her in tail wags and kisses!)
I hope your summer was paws-itively perfect – full of sunshine, belly rubs, and plenty of treats! As the humans gear up for back-to-school season, things are also ramping up at Adopt a Golden Atlanta. More dogs like me are coming in every day, some feeling a little ruff and needing extra love and care (and, let’s be honest, a lot of vet visits).
That’s where our amazing fosters, volunteers, and donors come in. You humans are the real MVPs! Every foster home is a golden ticket for a pup in need. Every volunteer makes tails wag with their time and love. And every donation means we can say “yes” to a Golden who needs a fresh start.
If you’ve been thinking about helping out, now is the paw-fect time to jump in! We’d love to have more friends to share treats with… I mean, more support to save lives!
Oh, and mark your calendars: May 1, 2026, is our Goldens are FURever Gala! It’s the biggest event of the year – a night of fun, celebration, and fundraising to keep our mission strong.
