As summer begins to wind down and many of us settle back into our routines, the need for rescue remains as strong as ever. Every week, dogs arrive at Adopt A Golden Atlanta in need of medical care, patience, and a safe place to land. Thanks to your generosity, we’re able to continue saying “yes” to Goldens who deserve a second chance.
One of our greatest needs right now is foster families. Foster homes are the bridge between uncertainty and a forever home. They give dogs the opportunity to rest, recover, build confidence, and learn what it means to be part of a family again. Whether you can foster for a few weeks or a few months, you truly change a dog’s future.
As the August heat continues, please remember to keep your pets cool, hydrated, and safe during outdoor activities. A little extra care goes a long way this time of year.
Henry and I are so grateful to every volunteer, foster, adopter, donor, and supporter who makes our mission possible. Whether you’ve opened your home, shared one of our posts, made a donation, or simply told someone about AGA, you’ve helped change a life. Thank you for believing in the Power of Rescue and for standing beside us as we continue helping Goldens find the loving homes they deserve.
