Dear AGA Family,
Wow!! We’re already rounding into the halfway point in 2026, and what a year it’s been!
We celebrated AGA the evening of May 1st with our Goldens Are FurEver Golden Gala at the Atlanta History Center. I’m proud to share with you that through the incredible hard work of Steve Hightower (our Philanthropic Chair and Gala Co-Chair), and the Gala Committee, we had the most successful Golden Gala ever!! We are all so very grateful for all of the support received – it will enable us to help rescue, rehabilitate and re-home even more dogs as this year unfolds.
A HUGE THANK YOU to each and everyone of you who helped to make our Gala so very successful. And for those of you who missed it, mark your calendars for May 7, 2027 – we’d love to see you there!
And, while we celebrate our success, we must always remember that the need for rescue never ends. Medical care is always one of our largest – if not the largest – expenses, and your on-going support allows us the ability to say “YES, of course!” to dogs who need urgent treatment in order to gain a well deserved second chance.
Henry and I are grateful to each and every one of you who help AGA fulfill our mission and demonstrate to the world the Power of Rescue. We are all hanging the lives, one Golden and one family at a time. And, as Henry always reminds me, one Golden and one person does a family make!
