Meet Abbey. She is a 3 year old female golden who was found in a kill shelter in Alabama. While Abbey was with us we learned that she was just a sweet, playful girl that loved her teddy bear! Unfortunately she had heartworms but thanks to our friends at Dekalb Tire they are a thing of the past and she is ready and eager to get settled in her new home. When mom and dad met Abbey they knew immediately that she was the one! They recently lost their 12 yr old golden, which they also adopted from a rescue group. We are so thankful to them for opting to give another rescue a good home. Now Abbey will have a stay at home mom, a super-cool and groovy dad and her very own fenced yard. Best of all, she reports that she’s going to be sleeping in the bed with mom and dad!
