After raising my puppies, it was finally my turn. I’m Abby, a seven-year-old mama who came to Adopt a Golden Atlanta from the Chattooga Animal Shelter. My puppies had all found their forever homes, and once they were safe and happy, AGA made sure I got my chance, too.
Then I met my new dad – and everything changed. He fell in love with me right away, and honestly, I felt the same about him.
Now I’ve got mountain trips, long walks, and lots of adventures ahead of me. While my dad is at work, I even get to spend time at my grandparents’ house where I have companionship and another dog to play with during the day.
After spending so much time taking care of everyone else, it feels pretty wonderful to finally be the one getting spoiled. Here’s to forever, Abby
