I have been with AGA for about 6 months now having come from a shelter. My doctors found that I have heartworms and also needed surgery on two of my knees. They couldn’t do both my knees at the same time, so I had to wait and I was so lucky to find a foster home where I could stay and someone would take care of me while I was getting better. Turns out though that my foster people thought it would be better just to be adopted and stay with them always. I totally agreed with that plan! Now, besides mom and dad, I have a dog sister and a great life ahead of me. I am all “fixed” now and all I have to think about is playing and enjoying my new family. Of all the people to thank, I want to mention Mark Signorelli, who sent the $500 to buy my heartworm medicine – (he has enormous wings and loves goldens) and all the people who donated to my “knee fund” so I could have my operations. I hope they know that they are all very special and that I will try to make them proud of me!!! Love you all – Albie
