Alexis (or Alex for short), a 6.5 year old female Golden whose owner turned her into a shelter because they didn’t want to deal with some fatty cysts she had, has found a new family to raise. We didn’t have a hard time finding her a new home after we had those cysts removed and she was feeling quite beautiful. She has a new Mom, Dad and a teenage girl to call her own. And, she has a bulldog that will come home for the holidays (boy – not dog.) Her new family recently lost their golden and Alex is helping them fill that hole in their hearts. She sure likes the feeling of being needed!
