When I first got to AGA I had come all the way from Tennessee, first from a shelter where my owner left me and then from a golden rescue up there. All the different moves made me a little uncertain about where I would end up next. In my 5 years I never moved so much! I thought nobody wanted me! But then I got to stay at a foster home and they took me to a place just for goldens to meet people to adopt them. Boy, it was crowded but my foster stayed with me and pretty soon a family came and spent time with me! They had a girl of their own already but they said they needed another girl- this time a dog girl (they were missing their other dog that had to say good-bye to them). And what do you know? That turned out to be me! So now I have a new mom and dad and sister all giving me lots of attention. Mom is home most of the time and my sister goes to school and dad goes to work. That means me and mom can make cookies and play in the yard and go to the store to do errands. Then after she’s all worn out my sister and dad will take over and take me for walks and more playtime. Oh, I almost forgot. We have a cat here. She’s very, very old and doesn’t play. She sleeps most of the time and I have to walk quietly so as not to wake her. No barking either! This is going to be a good place to call home. Love, Ally
