Meet Amstell, (formerly Troop) a male golden retriever who is around 5 or 6 years old. He and another dog were tied to a tree in someone’s yard until the neighbors realized they had been abandoned. Some people just aren’t deserving – but Amstell would sure like to thank those neighbors. Now he has a terrific new home. He was adopted by a wonderful lady and her 5 year old Golden, Champ. Mom recently lost her faithful Golden, Tess and was determined to find a Golden that needed them as much as they needed that Golden. After looking at their Christmas wish list twice they realized Amstel was a perfect fit with their Christmas list! When they met, Amstel easily showed Champ he was going to be a fun playful brother and proved to mom that he needed her. He also liked the way she gently touched his ears. Mom was smitten. Now another dog is happy to be home for the holiday!
