How are ya’ll doing? I am a true Southern girl who hails from Alabama. I have been helped to reach AGA which is simply thrilling because I was in real need of a place to call my own. We girls don’t usually like to tell our ages but, fiddle de de, I am proud to be 9 and still have a lot of energy and spunk. I can still jump over a 4 foot fence when you’re not watching or dig under a fence if you leave me alone for long out in the yard. Mercy, I guess you can tell I much prefer the company of others – being left alone just isn’t my cup of tea. The other thing I really, really don’t like are storms and here in the South you just can’t seem to get away from them. If you know any tricks to make me more comfortable when it’s storming, please, please get in touch. Storms are SO exhausting! Some say I am a little bossy but I was brought up to know my place and others sometimes have to be reminded. I certainly mean no harm so please remind me if I am too pushy because it is not a lady like trait. And above all, I am a lady! I don’t take up much space, my house manners are excellent and just like all Goldens I love to get and give attention. My foster mom has spoiled me rotten just like I deserve and introduced to a nice family at Adoption Day. They said they have been looking for a “mature” gal like me to partner with their 12 year old golden girl and you know how us southern girls like to talk and gossip. Well they adopted me of course and now I have a wonderful family right near my foster mom so I can visit often. Thanks AGA for finding this Southern Girl the perfect home!
