I was one of those unlucky dogs that my family didn’t want and they took me for a ride and pushed me out of the car and left me by the side of the road. No- wait- that wasn’t unlucky- that was the luckiest thing that ever happened to me because a nice lady helped and got me to AGA and they got me to a dog doctor who found out I had heartworms. And then the next luckiest thing happened- a whole family of angels named the Battle family sent money in memory of their beautiful Misty dog for the medicine to get rid of those awful things. I spent some time in a foster home where I could get better and then I started looking for a new family. My mom and dad have another golden from AGA who is a girl. I love girls and we are best friends now. She told me that when you go for a ride with our mom and dad no one will open the door and push you out. She said it’s a very mean thing to do and that it was something only bad people do. We are safe and loved here. Could I be any luckier? I don’t think so! Lots of love to all the people who helped me – Andy
